Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Ain't That Something

Ain't That Something

(album: What's Going On - 2019)

Sometimes distant memories
Of the way I used to be
Come back around
Ain't that something

I've done plenty that I regret
Said thing I wish I'd never said
Dumb shit I wish I could forget
So I can put my mind to rest
But every now and then
Thoughts from way-back-when
Get inside my head again and again so I'm

Looking back at the way I used to be
I'm surprised that I'm still here
I look back at the younger me when the future was so unclear
I'm just surprised I survived
So many dumb sleepless nights
But I am still alive
Ain't that something

Who's gonna stop me from harming myself
When I push away everyone offering help
Am I okay? Yeah, I'm fine
I'm just trying to have a good time
Not a worry in the world
Wake up, go to work, get paid, get drunk, go party, get the girl, get fucked
And have a couple Advil in the morning
Life sucks but it wasn't boring
And then the cycle of acting like a psycho (Where did this time go?)
Even though those days were a blast
I was going no where fast
Had to leave those times in the past
Or else I wouldn't last
Long nights, bar fights, drunk fights
Cop cars, back seats, and spinning lights
Been a whole year drunk and I can't top that
So now when I'm looking back

I'm just surprised I survived
So many dumb sleepless nights
But I am still alive
Ain't that something
I'm just surprised I survived
So many dumb sleepless nights
But I am still alive
Ain't that something

People make mistakes
Tough shit kinda turn with the fact that life's a bitch
I'm not proud of my past but look at me now
I dug my own grave and then climb my way out

And when you're at the lowest of lows
There's something you need to know
No life is good for nothing
You're still alive, ain't that something

I'm just surprised I survived
So many dumb sleepless nights
But I am still alive
Ain't that something
Woah, woah, I'm still alive
