Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

I Told You So

I Told You So

(album: Manhattan Melodrama - 1975)

In 1961 you told me rock' n' roll was done
In 1962 you told me rock 'n' roll was through
In 1963 you told me it was under me
In 1964 you didn't wanna rock 'n' roll no more

But I told you rock 'n' roll was here to stay
I told you rock 'n' roll will not fade away!
I told you so, 'cause I 'd go for more
I told you so I told you so
I told you rock 'n' roll was here to stay!

In 1965 you put down blues n' boogie n' jive
In 1966 you started out on your acid licks
In 1967 "cool" showed you the way to heaven
In 1968 you told me everything mellow was great

But I told you rock 'n' roll was here to stay
I told you rock 'n' roll will not fade away!
I told you so, 'cause I 'd go for more
I told you so I told you so
I told you rock 'n' roll was here to stay!

In 1969 you told me it was out of time
In 1970 you lost your lament of frailty
In 1971 you started fighting and having fun
In 1972 you really started coming right through

But I told you rock 'n' roll was here to stay
I told you rock'n' roll will not fade away!
I told you so, 'cause I 'd go for more
I told you so I told you so
I told you rock 'n' roll was here to stay!

In 1973 your radio's getting through to me
In 1974 everybody rocking.. some more
In 1975 everybody feeling that solid jive!
I told you rock 'n' roll was here to stay!
I told you rock 'n' roll win not fade away!
I told you so! I told you so ! I told you so!
