Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Dear Self

Dear Self

(album: Songs From Nashville - 2020)

I swore I'd never end up like this
Can't see past my own mistakes
Broken promises turned into habits
I've gotta do something about this
I know, I know I need to start listening

Dear self, I've gotta write this letter to you
I'll admit I messed up yeah a time or two
I finally get what I'm supposed to do
Let go, go
It's not too late to start over again
Lesson learned from those things I did
And what I thought I could never forgive
That's why I'm writing

Dear self
I need you to know that I'm sorry
I need you to know
Dear self
I need you to know that I'm sorry
I need you to know

Looking back on all this indecision
Finding answers in a bottle or two
Shouldn't be alive but amazing grace
Sometimes we all could use a rescue
I guess a broken heart is what I needed
To remind me she would never fill the deepest
Part of my soul and I will long for innocence
In a sense

Dear self, I've gotta write this letter to you
I'll admit I messed up yeah a time or two
I finally get what I'm supposed to do
Let go, go
It's not too late to start over again
Lesson learned from those things I did
And what I thought I could never forgive
That's why I'm writing

Dear self
I need you to know that I'm sorry
I need you to know
Dear self
I need you to know that I'm sorry
I need you to know

But honestly, I'll admit I'm afraid
Because love is the answer
And I've never let it in

I swore I'd never end up like this
Can't see past my own mistakes

Dear self, I've gotta write this letter to you
I'll admit I messed up yeah a time or two
I finally get what I'm supposed to do
Let go, go
It's not too late to start over again
Lesson learned from those things I did
And what I thought I could never forgive
That's why I'm writing

Dear self
I need you to know that I'm sorry
I need you to know
Dear self
I need you to know that I'm sorry
I need you to know

Dear self
I need you to know that I'm sorry
I need you to know
Dear self
I need you to know that I'm sorry
I need you to know
