Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Elephants' Dance

Elephants' Dance

(album: Hostis Humani Generis - 2020)

We have served many years under royal decree
Crossed the ocean so wast to the new colonies
We've starvation endured, eaten rations of mold
And we slaughtered our friends for a minimum sold

Been discarded like trash for a treaty with Spain
No work for us sailors till war comes again
In the ruins of Nassau, we gathered our strength
And founded a future and home for our friends

But here we are at gallow's point
In Woodes Rogers' ruse we've been caught
To pardon accept and get back in the fold
Or be fed to the crows in a noose

Bleed for Queen Anne! Starve for King George!
We're trampled and torn in this elephants dance
We're taking the rope, for the sake of the code
So the free folk of Nassau might still stand a chance

Oh we had a good run, with a cutlass and gun
I've earned most of my meals sailing on the accord
Our republic fought back every English attack
As we gathered a fleet sailing under the black

But now we are scattered, divided and weak
The enemy wedged in our midst
No force or no fleet could have torn us apart
Like King George's grand clemency

Bleed for Queen Anne! Starve for King George!
We're trampled and torn in this elephants dance
We're taking the rope, for the sake of the code
So the free folk of Nassau might still stand a chance

Oh I spit on your conditions, in fact I think I'll pass
Them terms won't do to wipe the shit out of me Irish ass
I'd rather die a free man, than live my life a slave
You take that bloody pardon, and you plant it on my grave

We are born of the salt, we are children of the sea
We don't bend our knees to no king or country
So we hoist the Jolly Roger, the colours of the free

We are born of the salt, we are children of the sea
We don't bend our knees to no king or country
So we hoist the Jolly Roger, the colours of the free
And if we hit the gallows, that's the way that it must be

We are born of the salt, we are children of the sea
We don't bend our knees to no king or country
So we hoist the Jolly Roger, the colours of the free
And if we hit the gallows, that's the way that it must be

We'll not bleed for Queen Anne! Starve for King George!
We're trampled and torn in this elephants dance
We're taking the rope, for the sake of the code
So the free folk of Nassau might still stand a chance

Starve for King George!
We're trampled and torn in this elephants dance
We're taking the rope, for the sake of the code
So the free folk of Nassau might still stand a chance
