Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

First Place

First Place

(album: The Compass Project - South Album - 2023)

Of all the ways it could've gone, this is the worst case
She didn't even pack a suitcase
Just a change of clothes in a backpack
No give a damn left, no looking back

She'll get as far as she can go on a tank of gas
She ain't wasting time on a second chance
She's about as gone as a girl can get

I should've seen it coming, maybe then I wouldn't have to see her
Running out the door in the pouring rain
Should've given her a reason not to ever think of leaving
Now a "Baby, I'm sorry" is just a little too late
I should've been hell bent on making her wanna stay
I should've never put her second in the first place
Should've never put her second in the first place

If I hadn't put us in a bad position, yeah
It might've been a little different
It didn't have to end
Wouldn't have to try again
But that's looking back with 20/20 vision

I should've seen it coming maybe then I wouldn't have to see her
Running out the door in the pouring rain
Should've given her a reason not to ever think of leaving
Now a "Baby, I'm sorry" is just a little too late
I should've been hell bent on making her wanna stay
I should've never put her second in the first place
Should've never put her second in the first place

No

She'll get as far as she can go on a tank of gas
Now I'm the only one living in the past
Looking at an empty glass

I should've seen it coming, maybe then I wouldn't have to see her
Running out the door in the pouring rain
Should've given her a reason not to ever think of leaving
Now a "Baby, I'm sorry" is just a little too late
I should've been hell bent on making her wanna stay
I should've never put her second in the first place
Should've never put her second in the first place
Oh, should've been hell bent on making her wanna stay

I should've never put her second in the first place
Should've never put her second in the first place
No, no
Should've never put her second in the first place
Should've never put her second in the first place
