Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Keeping Your Cool

Keeping Your Cool

(album: Traverse - 2013)

I'm admitting that I am confused
cuz I've never been in what you've put me through
and I wish that I had a single excuse
to say that I've got nothing left to lose

You were always a metaphor
to the things that you had to pretend you adored
and a lesson alone is so much more
than an answer you never tried asking for

You will one day find out
that everything can fall down
cuz life is keen on letting go
when you live it all alone

Well we've got movies to the west
and we've got football to the east
and we've got highways passing by us
but if I could say the least

it's that this all was never perfect
but it's never gonna cease to be our home

Agreed?

Take off to the California coast
they say you'll be a star
I hope to God those city boys
don't change the girl you are

but when you turn to head on home
and check up on your friends
will you...

Check your mirror and see yourself
and check the pictures we have kept
and tell yourself it's never been so wrong to pretend

That you knew everything bout yourself
when you went off what they told you and not once had you felt
like your frequent decisions were always mistakes
and the chances you got were the ones you would take

I'm a little impressed with the fact that you're gone
and I'm not so surprised that before too damn long
you will end up the subject of every song
bout a girl who was broken when she thought she was strong

We've got miles left to walk
and a perfect view of space
and we've got every single night
where we would all just stare away

from the rooftop of your house
to every dream we ever wondered if we'd face

Take off to the California coast
they say you'll be a star
I hope to God those city boys
don't change the girl you are

but when you turn to head on home
and check up on your friends
will you...

Check your mirror and see yourself
and check the pictures we have kept
and tell yourself it's never been so wrong to pretend

That your world hasn't fallen apart
you're unstitching the threads in all of your scars
you're too proud to admit you're going too far
with this goal that you set yourself

Take off to the California coast
they say you'll be a star
I hope to God those city boys
don't change the girl you are

but when you turn to head on home
and check up on your friends
will you...

Check your mirror and see yourself
and check the pictures we have kept
and tell yourself it's never been so wrong to pretend
