Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Can't Even Afford To Die

Can't Even Afford To Die

(album: It's A Business Doing Pleasure - 1992)

I went and died the other day
Never really planned it that way
Even after you're dead and gone
The bills keep going on and on and on

Everybody wants a piece of me
But I just want to rest in peace

Well, the cost of living is so damn high
Cost an arm and a leg to kiss this world goodbye
If that's what it takes
To leave this life
It's a pretty high price
When you can't even afford to die

Sold my house and changed the locks
Just to buy that old pine box
Planted me up on that hill
And I'm paying that bill to this day still

Everybody wants a piece of me
But I just want to rest in peace
Well the cost of living is so damn high
Cost an arm and a leg to kiss this world goodbye

Nothin's worth nothing
And nothing comes free
Everybody wants a piece of me
Well, if that's what it takes
To leave this life
It's a pretty high price
When you can't even afford to die

Diamond rings and mortgage titles
We try to hold on to golden idols
They say you can't take it with you
So they take it when you're gone
Gone, gone

I went and died the other day
And when they came to take me away
The guy with the hearse grinned and smiled
Said, "that'll be five bucks a mile!"

Well, the cost of living is so damn high
Cost an arm and a leg to kiss this world goodbye
Nothin's worth nothing
And nothing comes free

Everybody wants a piece of me
Well, the cost of living is so damn high
Work yourself to death
Just to stay alive

And just when you think
That you're getting ahead
The shit hits the fan
And you're further in debt

Well, if that's what it takes
To leave this life
That's a pretty high price
So take my advice
You'd better think twice
Before you go out and die
Can't even afford to die
Can't even afford to die
Can't even afford to die
