Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Footsteps

Footsteps

(album: An Anthropologist On Mars - 2021)

You don't seem the type to hold me underwater
I fell asleep and dreamt I'd turned myself around
Scratching deeper there's an urge to sever wires
Scratching deeper there's an urge to end it all

Why would you run from the thing you desire
There is no comfort in fear
Gathering branches just to
Follow in your footsteps now
Alleviate the pain somehow
Somehow

There were years I served my sentence to the slaughter
There were years I kept it strictly underground
I can't do the things I used to do forever
A darkened heart holds on to all that history

Why would you run from the thing you desire
There is no comfort in fear
Gathering branches just to
Follow in your footsteps now
Alleviate the pain somehow

If I search for every answer
There's a chance I'll never know
Either way I'm forced to
Follow in your footsteps now
I'm tearing all the branches out

It's my favorite song
Everybody's singing
Come along and join us underground
I'm lost and found
It's my favorite song
Everybody's singing
Come along and join us underground
I'm lost and found
It's my favorite song
Everybody's singing
Come along and join us underground

I think I'm on to something
I feel like ditching portions of the past
To make room for all the memories that haven't happened yet
I feel I'm lost and found

If I search for every answer
There's a chance I'll never know
Either way I'm forced to
Follow in your footsteps now
I'm tearing all the branches out
