Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Livin' Next To Leroy

Livin' Next To Leroy

(album: Girl Going Nowhere - 2018)

I used to roll my cigarettes on the hood of my Tacoma
Sit and watch the world go by
I was seventeen and green and knowing nothing 'bout living
In a town where people go to die

Leroy was a transplant from somewhere in Alabama
The first time I met him, he asked me for a spoon
And I thought he must've been in a bluegrass band, or something
But I'd find out one August afternoon

Three doors down, there's tinfoil on the table
They ain't cooking up nothing good 'round here
There's one in every house: high on the couch, stealing cable
On the dark side of the country it ain't bonfires, it ain't beer
But you find out quick how big a hit the neighbor's bike'll get ya, boy
Living next to Leroy

In the classroom, Susie Highschool was packing pills like notes
Taking shots in the parking lot at lunch
And I'd join in every now and then 'cause you can't beat the cool crowd
I'd go to Leroy's 'til I sobered up

Three doors down, there's tinfoil on the table
They ain't cooking up nothing good 'round here
There's one in every house: high on the couch, stealing cable
On the dark side of the country it ain't bonfires, it ain't beer
But you find out quick how big a hit that class ring'll get ya, boy
Living next to Leroy

I rolled a J on the day I got my diploma
I knew Leroy would be proud
I can't forget shaking him, trying to wake him on that sofa
He never did come 'round

Yeah, three doors down, there's tinfoil on the table
They ain't cooking up nothing good 'round here
There's one in every house: high on the couch, stealing cable
On the dark side of the country it ain't bonfires, it ain't beer
But you find out quick how high you get when that last hit gets you boy

Living next to Leroy
Living next to Leroy
Next to Leroy
