Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Cactus

Cactus

(album: Ride A Country Road - 1975)

I met Cactus and I hadn't really known him a long time
I was just a boy and I had a lot of growing to do
He'd say "but then I do to"
He'd say, then he'd wink and we'd laugh

The summer was long that year and we loved it
He told me stories, secrets, all of the time
And then, I'd tell him some of mine
And we'd both laugh

Cactus don't let me down, I never had a friend like you
Keep your feet on the ground
Stay, stick around, say you've found a best friend too

Cactus was pouring the drink and the whisky
They put him out and when I said he should quit he got mad
He said it was all that he had
Except for one friend

Now he was nowhere around when I went up
To see if he wanted to walk into town
I'd say we'd just look around
I hadn't seen him awhile

Cactus don't let me down, I never had a friend like you
Keep your feet on the ground
Stay, stick around, say you've found a best friend too

Now I just about given up a'looking to find him
When I saw him lying right beside the back door
I'd seen it all before
And I got mad

"Cactus get up you old fool" and I shook him
But it wasn't the same as the times I'd found him before
I picked him up off the floor
And that's when I cried

Cactus I let you down, I never had a friend like you
Get up off the ground
Come on, come around, say you've found a best friend too

Cactus I let you down, I never had a friend like you
Get up off the ground
Come on, come around, say you've found a best friend too

Cactus I let you down, I never had a friend like you
Get up off the ground
Come on, come around, say you've found a best friend too
