Bonjour!

Teach Me How To Jump

Teach Me How To Jump

(album: I Am - 2008)

I see nothing but I hear your voice telling me I can do it
I want nothing, just to see your face to tell you I never knew it
But you mean to me more than it seemed
I should have said it, I should have said I love ya'
'cause I'm scared of nothing when I hear your voice telling me I can do it

I see you looking down thinking how I'm crazy
While I'm crying all these tears
But I think it's only fair cause I'm missing something
Something I wanted to have for years

Teach me how to jump, teach me how to fly
It's just like my brother, just like him to try
And I'll miss you
But not forever 'cause we'll see each other again
Teach me how to jump, teach me how to fly
It's just like my friend, just like you to try
And I'll miss you
But not forever 'cause we'll see each other again

I feel something but it don't feel good
I just don't want to hear it
I keep thinking I could take your hand
That I could just walk you through it
I've got this dream, I've got this scene
You keep on watching, you're keeping your proud eye on me
I'll make it like I said I would
I'm telling you I can do it

I see you looking down thinking how I'm crazy
While I'm crying all these tears
But I think it's only fair cause I'm missing something
Something I wanted to have for years

Teach me how to jump, teach me how to fly
It's just like my brother, just like him to try
And I'll miss you
But not forever 'cause we'll see each other again
Teach me how to jump, teach me how to fly
It's just like my friend, just like you to try
And I'll miss you
But not forever 'cause we'll see each other again

Wa sat and talked for hours
Both standing in our towers
Thinking we knew everything
Like we could have it all

Can we sit and talk for hours
Both standing in our towers
Finally knowing everything
And promise me just one thing...

Again, again, oh I'll see you again
