Bonjour!

Do You Really Know How I Feel

Do You Really Know How I Feel

(album: The Last Word - 2019)

Walk down my street
Dirty filth is all I see
I hear men scream
Then I hear the sirens

I hear the hungry babies crying
I see the poisoned rats dying
It's all happening, alive
On the street where I live
Oh, God help me to forgive

Walk on the other side of town
Beautiful houses all around
I don't hear no men scream
I don't hear no sirens

I hear the sound of laughter and glee
I see you taking it all so easy
It's all happening
Alive on the street where you live
God help you if He will

Do you really know how I feel
Do you really know, know how I feel
'Cause if you do, then why
Do you keep on making me feel this way
Hey, hey, hey

I remember the day
Telling me to show up and not be late
And to fight faithfully
So they people over there can be free

When my right on my corner
There's a woman she begs
All the day long so her kids can be fed
Well it's all happening
Alive on the street where I live
Lord help me to forgive

You smile in my face
Telling me it won't be this way always
When I say it's been 400 years you say
I know how you feel

But do you really know how I feel?
Do you really know, know how I feel?
'Cause if you do, why in the hell
Do you keep on making me feel this way?
Do you really know how I feel?
Do you really know, know how I feel?
'Cause if you do, why in the hell
Do you keep on making me feel this way?

Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know

I don't believe you know
I don't believe that you know
I may say I'm doing fine
I may say I'm doing really fine
I may say I'm doing so fine
Deep down in my heart
I am really lying
Ah, tell me now

Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know
Do you really know

How I feel
Hey, hey, hey
How I feel
Hey, hey, hey
What I feel, what I feel
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
