Bonjour!

You Love Him

You Love Him

(album: Brighten - 2017)

What do I do when I'm all messed up cause I see his car in your driveway
Thinking I'm not good enough, maybe you'll slip up and say my name
Maybe I'm just out of line
It couldn't happen a second time
And again, maybe I'm losing my mind

What do I do when I'm doing it
Then I do it over again
Just to see them doing it wrong
What do I do then
What do I do then

What do I say when I'm saying it
Then I say it over again
Just to see them saying it wrong
What do I say then
What do I say then

I should've been good when I could've been good to you
Should've said all the things that I wanted to
Now all of a sudden I'm a freebird
Because of three little words

One too many after three good years
All for nothing because of 5 dollar beer
So what you said made you do it
No baby I already knew it, ooh

It's cause you love him

What do I do when I'm walking round town and people ask how I'm doing
I don't want to tell them all the truth
Tell them you and I got into it
Maybe they'll think it's all my fault
When it's not my fault at all
Maybe I'll just say it's nothing
You and I hit a wall

What do I do when I'm doing it
Then I do it over again
Just to see them doing it wrong
What do I do then
What do I do then

I should've been good when I could've been good to you
Should've said all the things that I wanted to
Now all of a sudden I'm a freebird
Because of three little words

One too many after three good years
All for nothing because of 5 dollar beer
So what you said made you do it
But baby I already knew it, ooh

It's cause you love her

What do I do when I'm doing it
Then I do it over again
Just to see them doing it wrong
What do I do then
What do I do then, ooh

What do I love when I'm loving her then I love her all again
Just to see him loving her wrong
Doing love then
But do I love then

I should've been good when I could've been good to you
Should've said all the things that you wanted me to
Now all of a sudden I'm a freebird
Because of three little words, honey

One too many after three good years
All for nothing because of 5 dollar beer
So what you said made you do it
Baby I already knew it, ooh

It's cause you love him
Cause you love him
