Bonjour!

Missed Connection

Missed Connection

This morning I decided to get breakfast, oh
Decided to get to get breakfast, uh
And you pulled in front of me in the drive-thru
Yes, you did (Yes, you did), oh, oh (Oh, oh)
When I got to the window to pay
The lady at the counter said
Oh she said, oh she said, oh she said
You paid for my food
I noticed you had pulled over
And I waved "thank you" as I left

I should have pulled next to you to say "thank you" in person
But I didn't because I had to get to work
I should have pulled next to you to say thanks in person
But I didn't because I had to get to work
I should have pulled next to you to say "thank you" in person
But I didn't because I had to get to work
I should have pulled next to you to say thanks in person
But I didn't because I had to get to work

Just want to thank you for being so nice (So nice)
Just want to thank you for being so nice
So, oh, oh, nice
Not many people are these days, no
I would like to pay back the kindness someday
If our paths ever cross again

I should have pulled next to you to say "thank you" in person
But I didn't because I had to get to work
I should have pulled next to you to say thanks in person
But I didn't because I had to get to work
I should have pulled next to you to say "thank you" in person
But I didn't because I had to get to work
I should have pulled next to you to say thanks in person
But I didn't because I had to get to work
