Congratulazioni!

Day one I woke up
It hit me like a Mack truck
You're no longer mine
All alone, check my phone
Thinking maybe you might have called
To change your mind

Day two I had a dream
That you were lying next to me
Never knew you could cry in your sleep
Day three I tried to call
Heard your voice, hung up the phone
Oh, na, na

Isn't time supposed to heal this pain?
Now I'm thinking this old clock's to blame
'Cause I've been taking it day by day (by day)
They told me time is all it takes
Well, they lied, 'cause these tears in my eyes
Show no progression
Think I've learned my lesson, oh

How come the good is all I remember (remember)
While I try and paste my heart back together?
Make it stop
And these days that I lost all I know is I
Don't want to love you no more
Don't want to love you no more, no no

Day fourteen was a good day
'Til in a crowd I heard your name
Reminded me that I'm not okay
Day twenty-five, my best friend called
She told me she heard you moved on
No, no

I thought time was supposed to heal this pain
Now I'm thinking I'm the one to blame
'Cause I've been taking it day by day (by day)
They told me time is all it takes
Well, they lied, 'cause these tears in my eyes
Show no progression
Think I've learned my lesson, oh

How come the good is all I remember (remember)
While I try and paste my heart back together?
Make it stop
And these days that I lost all I know is I
Don't want to love you no more
We had something special
So hard to let it go
Believe me I've tried (I've tried)
And don't say I didn't care
When I did it all to keep you here
For so long I been holding on to something gone (gone)
Something gone, something gone (gone)

I thought time was supposed to heal this pain
Now I'm thinking I'm the one to blame
'Cause I've been taking it day by day (by day)
They told me time is all it takes
Well, they lied, 'cause these tears in my eyes
Show no progression
Think I've learned my lesson, oh

How come the good is all I remember (remember)
While I try and paste my heart back together?
Make it stop
And these days that I lost all I know is I
Don't want to love you no more
Don't want to love you no more, no no

Fatto
