I didn't like where I was living
So I went away and did some thinking
Started to get my things packed
And then I had my car jacked
It was now or never
Now things are better than ever

You can eat pizza when you want to
Can nap all day with no one nagging you
Of course we got them bills to pay
And I'm sure as hell I'll find a way
But until then I will do whatever I choose

Just remember what your parents taught you
And forget all the old things you knew

Don't get me wrong it can be stressful
Now you have to make your own phone calls
And when a salesman comes knocking at your door
You can't hand them over to your mum no more
