I blinked my eye and what did I spy but a girl sitting up in a tree

I said come on down cause now you're found
There's no one around and it's nice on the ground

She said I like it up here cause the air is clear

Bird singing, wind wispering, sun kissing, clouds caressing
Branches clinging to me-ee-ee

I said come on down out of that tree

Leaves made lace around her face peeking down at me
I wondered why she'd climb so high right up in the top of that tree

Darkness fell I fell as well when I heard her sweet call to me
Right then I knew what I had to do I started climbing up in that tree

And now I found I don't want to get down
I don't miss the ground while she's around

Crickets calling breeze hushing stars blinking
Moon waking nightingale singing and we-ee-ee
