Last night when I come home

There was a mule in my stable

Well, the next night when I come home

Where my coat was suppose to be

There ain't nothing but a blanket that my mother in law sent to me

With two sleeves on in before

Well no, the next night when I come home
I was tired and I wanted to sleep
There was a hat on my dresser
Where my hat was suppose to be

I said; Wake up, darling
And explain all these stuff to me
Who's hat's there on dresser
Where my hat is suppose to be

She said, you must be silly

There ain't nothing but a wash bag
That my grandmother sent to me
