Every day I wake up for the daily trail

Brush my teeth before I drink some coffee
Wash my face it's on and on a routine
Make it out the flat and to the corner shop
Where they don't sell a lot
Buy a coke and read the magazines
Faces staring back I seen on TV
When I get to work I'm told I'm on the clock
Tick tock tick tock tick tock
Well I don't like these four walls that I'm seeing
So it's behind my eyes where I'll be dreaming
We are but a flower on this tree of life
And no I don't believe that anybody dies
Cause we can fly

We crawled out of the sea
Climbed into the trees
Chopped down the forests to build our cities
If we put this bird in a cage
It will not learn to sing

We follow our dreams
That turn into schemes
Hunger for profits and count up the gains
Three little pigs
And a big wolf
All on the list

Between morning and sunset I go through my day
Amazed by the beauty in everything
We got trees for lungs
And birds to sing us to
