I cried myself awake the other day
My girlfriend didn't know just what to say
I dreamt about a dog that I once knew

I've been having trouble dealing with the truth
It's like a sweet ice-cream
You bite it with a front tooth
I was a kid who hated healthy foods

Things don't stay the same, so what's the use?

And I've been going through some changes

To everything I used to love
And all those easy going things

Thinking 'bout how I am quiet when
Someone says something that I can't comprehend
I know that I'm not fully educated
So what would my opinion mean?
But the more I learn, I hate it

The fact that I was raised up
