I pray for strength so I can never be beat
God gave me enemies that I have to be strong to defeat
I pray for money cause I was so sick and tired of being broke
He made me poor to motivate me to get rich on my own
I pray for courage so I can stop being scared and afraid
He gave me danger so that I can toughen up and be brave
I pray for fame so everybody in the world would show love to me
And God gave me haters taught me to cherish my company
And I never spent much time in church or mesmerize the bible verse
But every time I think I'm dying I say hi and hope it's heard
The devil follows every step that echoes in the universe
I'm praying for directions God rebuilds the bridges I have burn
And Jesus didn't use to appeal now he's a coping mechanism for the weakness in people
But there has to be good as long as there is an evil
So the only proof I need is the devil real

I mean, I see church and, I don't even go
I do take time to show thanks on my on to me
I believe a prayer's worth more than gold
I really do suffer from anxiety and panic

Heart starts pounding so I got to call an ambulance
Feel like I'm dying trying to live but I can't do it
On my knees, pray for peace, with the war that rages inside of me

This is real, don't tell me to chill, people take there own life and kill
This is my life and how I feel I write these words sitting right by pills
It might be a crutch but right now its my shield
