Hallo!

We voegen alle onbekende woorden ervan toe.

Nadine

As I got on a city bus and found myself a seat
I thought I saw my future bride walking up the street
I shouted to the driver, "Hey conductor, you must slow down"
I think I see her, I'm getting off the bus

Nadine, honey, is that you?
Oh, Nadine, honey, is that you?
It seem like every time I catch up with
You up to something new

I saw her from the corner when she turned and doubled back
She started walking toward a coffee colored Cadillac
I was pushing through the crowd trying to get to where she's at
Campaign shouting like a Southern diplomat

I said, Nadine, honey, is that you? Yeah, baby
Oh, Nadine, honey, is that you?
It seem like every time I catch up with
You up to something new, yeah, babe, oh darling

Hey, downtown searching for her, looking all around
Saw her getting in a cab, back heading uptown
I caught a yellow taxi, hey, I took the [?]
Tipped twenty dollar bill, catch that yellow cab

Nadine, honey, is that you?
Oh girl, hey, Nadine, little girl, is that you?
It seem like every time I catch up with
You got something else to do

Yeah, and she moves around like a wave of summer breeze
Go, driver, go, go, catch her for me, please
Move through the traffic like a mounted cavalier
Leaning out the window trying to make her hear

Nadine, little girl, is that you?
Oh, Nadine, is that you?
It seem like every time I catch up with
You got something else to do

Oh, Nadine, little girl, is that you?
Oh yeah, little girl, is that you?
It seem like every time I catch up with
You up to something new
It seem like every time I catch up with
You up to something new
