About the little burro that went with Mary

But he was much more

He carried mother Mary from Nazareth to Bethlehem
When they finally arrived they couldn't find a place
To lay down
The little burro knew that Mary was about to give birth
He knew it was time for the true king to begin his reign on earth
Every door they knocked on everybody told them no
The little burro knew that Mary had gone as far as she could go

Then finally an old inn keeper opened his door a crack
He said I've got no room inside for you but there's a stable out back
The little burro saw baby Jesus born that very night
Then he closed his eyes and he went to sleep
He knew everything would be alright
