Yeah, God chose to make Himself known
Plus, without His revelation we'd be wrong

But it's been revealed that we made from dirt
In the beginning, God created heaven and earth
So if I'm struggling with fear or anxiety
Seeking to manipulate God with these appeals to my piety

Then it's God's promise that'll quiet me
'Cause as a good Father, everything I need, He provided me
Eyes I can see with, mouth I can eat with
Clothes with a neat fit, home I can sleep in

A God full of mercy, evil can never hurt me
No, I don't deserve it, I'm thankful He keep His word, though
Believe in God the Father, made the heaven and earth, bro

Conceived by the Holy Ghost to release us
From our captivity, and practice impiety
And try to please God with ideas that we keep up
The old Adam in us still swimming tryna keep up
But Jesus descended into hell, then He leaped up
On the third day, then ascended into heaven
Now He saves sinners from sin and sends us into heaven

Plus He gave the Spirit to us too
Who's our comforter and counselor and keeps us in the crew
Sanctifies, illuminates, and leads us to the truth
United us with Jesus and He keeps us in Him too
It's the Spirit who's enlightening and turning on the lights
Who hovered over water at the origin of life
It's the Spirit who's delivering the benefits of Christ
Until His whole holy Church is living in eternal life
